Project-based learning offers teachers a great opportunity for engaging students in real tasks while learning English. All projects listed here were conducted withe students and teachers at Institut Federica Montseny (Badia del Vallès, Barcelona).
Singing for equality is a 4-session project whose learning objective is to get students empathise with the situation of refugees in Greece. Learners are asked to produce a rap in response to EKO making noise, a rap produced by Syrian children trapped in the military camp of Vasilika.
I hope you will love my Xmas video card is a 5-session project whose learning objective is to get students learn to express hopes and good wishes. Learners are asked to produce a video Christmas card to be sent to students at IES Badia del Vallès, the other high school in the village.
